Cairo – Mubasher: The consolidated net profits of Raya Contact Center plunged by 68% year-on-year (YoY) to EGP 20.6 million in the first half (H1) of 2020 from EGP 64.29 million, including minority shareholders’ rights.

Meanwhile, the company generated EGP 386.22 million in revenue in the first six months of the year, down from EGP 427.4 million in the same period in 2019, according to a bourse disclosure on Thursday.

As for the second quarter (Q2) of 2020, the company’s net profits slid to EGP 10.35 million from EGP 27.83 million in Q2-19.

The H1-20 standalone financial statements reported net profits of EGP 48.4 million, up from EGP 19.5 million in the year-ago period.

During Q1-20, Raya Contact Center logged EGP 10.3 million in net profits, down from EGP 36.46 million in Q1-19.
